SaaS products
Multi-tenant platforms with public booking, subscriptions, client records, messaging and billing, including UPI.
Proof: UnifiedSelf, live for therapists in India.
Capabilities
KodeSquadra is led by an engineer who has shipped production software since 1999: for jewellers, exporters and manufacturers in the 2000s, for clients who stayed for years, and for our own products today. Our longest client relationship is in its fifteenth year and still running. Most of that work sits under NDA, so this page describes it without names. It is the long answer to “what can you actually do?”, written for agencies and businesses deciding whether to work with us.
Product types
Each type below is something we have shipped and kept running, not a menu of things we would like to try. The proof line points to the work it comes from.
Multi-tenant platforms with public booking, subscriptions, client records, messaging and billing, including UPI.
Proof: UnifiedSelf, live for therapists in India.
Work management, workflows, org charts, documents, learning modules, compliance and asset tracking for companies of any size.
Proof: the platform we have engineered solo for over a decade.
Production and packing planning, shift and item tracking, stock, and label printing on the machines where the work happens.
Proof: production screens in daily use at a wholesale business.
Mirroring an ERP database into Postgres on a schedule with reconciliation, read APIs on top, and dashboards or Power BI fed from it.
Proof: a nightly Dynamics AX mirror serving live dashboards.
.NET MAUI apps for Android, iOS and Windows sharing code with the web app; Windows desktop applications and services when that is the right fit.
Proof: a MAUI companion app to that platform, and twenty years of Windows software before it.
Server-rendered sites with technical SEO, structured data, analytics with consent handling, lead capture, admin panels and knowledge-base chatbots.
Proof: this site, our own product sites, and SHA Career Hub and SHA Infotech, rebuilt in a week.
Drafting text, summarising records, analysing company data, and chatbots that run on a knowledge base and switch to an LLM by configuration.
Proof: shipped in that platform, in UnifiedSelf, and in SHA Career Hub's chatbot.
VB6, classic ASP, Windows Forms and .NET Framework systems moved to .NET 10 and Blazor; SQL Server data moved to Postgres with an import pipeline, not a big-bang rewrite.
Proof: one product carried from Windows Forms to ASP.NET to Blazor to MAUI, with its data intact.
GST invoicing with LUT exports and IGST or CGST+SGST splits, GSTR-1 export, TDS, credit notes, payment tracking, and two-way accounting integrations.
Proof: our own GST invoicing tool, and accounting and payroll software built earlier.
Selected work
Most client engagements since 2005 have been under NDA; where we may name the client, we do. What follows is what each one involved, which is what you need to judge whether we can do yours.
For a partner of more than ten years we are the entire engineering team: backend, frontend, database, mobile app, integrations, hosting and releases. The product covers tasks, workflows, org charts, chat, documents, learning modules, compliance and assets for companies of any size, in two languages. Over the years it moved from Windows Forms to ASP.NET to Blazor, and from SQL Server to Postgres, without losing its data or its users.
Today it ships as a web app and a MAUI app for Android, iOS and Windows, backed by more than a thousand automated tests. It integrates with payments, email, calendars, SMS and an external accounting system, and its AI features draft text, summarise records and analyse company data.
The same partner’s wholesale business has run on Dynamics AX since 2009. We mirror its production database into Postgres every night with reconciliation and repair, expose read APIs on the mirror, and feed Power BI from it. On top of that data we built production and packing planning screens used on the shop floor every day, a small label-printing service on each factory PC driving industrial printers, and dashboards for purchasing, stock, production and waste. Moving the business off AX onto our own system is the next step under discussion.
A company producing food for businesses and delivering it daily or on schedule needed one system for recipes, costing, purchasing, deliveries, labelling and invoicing, with two-way integration to its accounting package. We built it as a Windows application plus a set of utilities, services and web tools that ran across its outlets. More than a hundred staff used it daily for years.
As part of a large team at a finance-software vendor, we spent four years on a Windows and SQL Server product used by the vendor’s own staff and its customers. Most of our effort went into an extension built for one of the vendor’s clients.
SHA Career Hub, an IT training institute, and its parent company SHA Infotech came to us by referral. We reviewed their existing sites, wrote a competitor analysis and a conversion action plan, rebuilt both sites with admin panels, lead capture and a blog with structured data, and added a chatbot that answers from a knowledge base and switches to an LLM by configuration. Delivered in a week.
Built for our own use and live today: invoices with financial-year numbering series, zero-rated exports under LUT, IGST or CGST+SGST as the case requires, PDF invoices with amount in words, payment tracking with days-late and short-payment analysis, credit notes, TDS, GSTR-1 export sheets and exchange rates compared across RBI and ECB feeds.
A booking site for a residential retreat: Razorpay order creation and signature verification, and enquiry and collaboration forms captured straight into Google Sheets. A family project, no longer active.
1999 – 2010
A decade of software for businesses of every kind, before the long engagements began. The code is long gone; the domain knowledge is not.
Industries
Graded by how much you can check. Domain knowledge transfers; the same invoicing, scheduling and stock problems appear in every industry wearing different clothes.
Technology
Microsoft stack by preference, since it was called Visual Basic. Breadth is the point: we have kept systems alive across every generation of it.
Working together
Projects are quoted as a fixed price or a monthly retainer. Ask for a written estimate; it is free, specific, and includes whether you should build it at all.
Senior white-label capacity for the projects your team cannot take on. You keep the client and the relationship; we deliver under your name and under NDA, which has been our normal since 2005.
A fixed price against a written estimate, starting with the smallest version of your idea worth building. You own the code, the designs and the infrastructure from day one.
For products that need steady engineering: a monthly retainer covering improvements, monitoring, maintenance and support, with a predictable invoice.
